Social-ICE, Dogs Downtown, Roller Disco making returns in 2022

(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Downtown Alliance announced a list of events scheduled for 2022.

“Our team truly enjoys the process of developing our calendar each year. We are always striving to find new ways to promote downtown, assist our business community, and create a great experience for our visitors,” said Holly Masek, RDA executive director.

“We want downtown to be the most vibrant and welcoming neighborhood of Rochester."

• Clean and Safe Ambassador Program: Daily services January through December
• Start-Up Event Grant: February
• Social-ICE: February 3-5
• Social-ICE FAM JAM: February 5
• Spring public space improvements: April and May
• Fresh Air Fitness: select days in May and June
• Sidewalk Sessions: Mondays and Fridays starting May 16 through August 5
• Zumbro River clean-up: June
• Thursdays Downtown: every Thursday from July 7 through August 25
• Dogs Downtown: September 17
• Roller Disco: October 7-8
• Here Comes Santa Claus: November 25
• Small Business Saturday: November 26

For the above-mentioned programs, the RDA will be in contact with Olmsted County Public Health to determine the latest COVID-19 guidelines and adjust plans as needed.
