School bus involved in crash on 52, three adults taken to hospital

(ABC 6 News) – A school bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 52 and US 14 at 2nd Street SW, at 9:12 a.m. Friday.

Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Troy Christianson said there were minor injuries at the scene, but none of the school bus passengers were taken to the hospital.

A Toyota Camry lost control in the right southbound lane and slid into the school bus, traveling in the center lane. The Toyota Camry and a Ford Edge then collided in the right lane.

The driver and passenger in the Toyota Camry, and the driver in the Ford Edge were all taken to St. Marys hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported seven minor injuries to children on the bus, who were checked by Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service on the scene.

The students were visible leaving the school bus and walking to another bus via a Minnesota Department of Transportation traffic camera.
