$600K in damage after fire at Austin motorcycle shop

(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: The Austin Fire Department estimates a Thursday evening fire at MD Customs Motorcycles in Austin caused around $600,000 in damage.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause. The Austin Fire Department said the majority of damage to the building was in the office area but some fire did make it into the shop area and roof.
A number of motorcycles were removed from the shop before receiving any damage.
Additional details are expected to be released Monday.

Multiple fire crews worked into the night Thursday to put out a fire at M-D Customs motorcycle shop on 4th Ave SE in Austin.
Austin, Brownsdale, and Lyle fire departments were called to 4th Ave SE around 3:30 p.m. for a report of a building fire.
An ABC 6 crew is at the scene and said there is a lot of smoke in the air and that as of 10:00 p.m. firefighters are still working to put out the flames.
So far, no injuries have been reported.
