(ABC 6 News) – The state’s judicial redistricting panel released the new congressional and legislative maps earlier this week. The state will use those maps for elections over the next 10 years. A district in southeast Minnesota impacts two republican senators, Sen. Carla Nelson and Sen. Gene Dornink, a first-term lawmaker.
Betsy Singer sat down with Sen. Dornink to discuss his family’s plans to move to Freeborn County so he will not be running against Sen. Nelson for the party’s endorsement.
