Strong Wind Sticks Around Monday

The wind will remain very strong out of the south/southwest early on Monday, with gusts around 40 mph or stronger at times. Drive with a little extra caution out on the open stretches of roads, especially if you are driving a high-profile vehicle. This wind will become more out of the west/northwest by the afternoon & evening, behind an advancing cold front through the area. Wind will be easing up as we head into the overnight hours, & the early hours on Tuesday morning.
