Wisconsin man sentenced to probation after sex with Fillmore County minor
(ABC 6 News) – A Wisconsin man received a sentence of 10 years’ probation Monday, April 24, after pleading guilty to sex with a 14-year-old.
Jace Robert Moeckly, 20, of Onalaska, pleaded guilty to one charge of 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor–penetration in Fillmore County Court.
A count of 4th-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of soliciting a child, and two counts of sexual communication with a child were dismissed.
If Moeckly does not obey the conditions of his release, which include attending sex offender therapy and avoiding contact with girls under age 18 unless approved by a therapist and probation officer, he may be re-sentenced to 210 days in prison, to be served as work release if eligible.

According to court documents, Moeckly began to make sexual overtures to the victim, including photos and messages.
The two later had a sexual encounter, which resulted in DNA evidence tested by law enforcement.
Moeckly’s sentencing is scheduled for April 24, 2023.

According to court documents, Fillmore County law enforcement learned about the sexual encounter through a Corner House interview April 14, 2022.
