(ABC 6 News) – A local group of people continue their weekly protesting outside the Rochester office of congressman Hagedorn over the riots last year.
The leader of the group says they support democracy and they want congressman Hagedorn to, quote, "take the threat seriously", so nothing like it ever happens again.
Each week, between 8 and 20 people show up at the congressman’s office holding American flags.
Friday, the group presented congressman Hagedorn’s Rochester staff with a photobook, documenting their weekly rallies.
"I think the main issue is the people of southeast Minnesota deserve the truth we deserve the truth about what happened at the last election we deserve the truth about congressmanHagedorns stance on what happened with that and his feeling son democracy," Pernell Meier said.
The group says the congressman has not responded to them in the year they’ve gathered outside his office.
ABC 6 News spoke with a member of Hagedorn’s team, who says his team is aware of this group, but would not comment further.
