Austin Packer Dome opens to the public Thursday, safety protocols in place

(ABC 6 News) – The Austin Packer Dome opens to the public Thursday and visitors should be aware of safety protocols that are in effect.

Masking is currently not required but it is recommended. A physical sign-up sheet will be placed at the dome, which can be found in the building next to the dome. No reservations are required, however, when walking with someone using the field, walkers are to yield to the renter’s needs.

Dome Walking Hours (subject to change):

• Sunday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Monday 7 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Tuesday 7 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Wednesday 7 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Thursday 7 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Friday 7 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Saturday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
