(ABC 6 News) – In an effort to be transparent with the community, the Austin Public School District released COVID-19 data from this week.
There are 35 confirmed cases of COVID-19 this week, according to an email from Dr. Joey Page, superintendent of Austin Public Schools.
Since the start of the school year, 151 students and 27 staff members have tested positive for the virus.
When it comes to vaccinations the district says 79 percent of APS staff have completed two doses and about 42 percent of eligible students have received their vaccines.
