Byron restaurant employees victims in armed robbery, no arrests made

(ABC 6 News) – The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people after an armed robbery in Byron early Sunday morning.

The sheriff’s office received a call around 2:45 a.m. Sunday from a group of employees at The Compadres in Byron who said they had been robbed.

Deputies responded to the restaurant and searched the area for the suspects but no one was found.

The employees told deputies they had just locked up the restaurant and were getting ready to go home when two men approached them. They said one of the men pushed one of the employees against a wall hitting his head. The same man hit another employee over the head with a gun.

The suspects took all three of their cell phones and two wallets with about $1,260 in them.
