City Hall in Mason City reopens after renovation

(ABC 6 News) – City Hall in Mason City has reopen to the public following substantial renovations.
It reopened Tuesday after months after security renovations.
In a press release the city stated, "As part of the safety renovation, access to all departments in the facility will require prior check-in at the utility billing desk. Stairwell and elevator access also requires prior check-in at the utility billing desk. City staff continues to provide services to the public electronically, by phone or mail and by appointments made in advance"
The city says the work completed includes public health, safety and security improvements, staff workstation improvements, and the addition of a conference room on the first floor.
