Copper pipes taken from Old Bakers Square north building

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Rochester Police Department was called to the Old Bakers north building on Friday morning for burglary of copper pipes.

Some workers working on the building told police sometime between 10:15 p.m. Thursday and 9:12 a.m. Friday someone came into the building and cut off all of the copper pipes that were exposed in the kitchen and chemical area.

The water ran throughout the building until they were able to turn it off.

Some construction equipment was also taken including a generator and paint sprayer.

The building is being remodeled for Los Arcos Kitchen North.

There is no estimate on the damage from the water that came out when the pipes were taken.
