Creating more opportunities for paid family medical leave

(ABC 6 News) – During this legislative session, Minnesota state leaders are joining business owners and community members to call for paid family medical leave.
Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan and the Speaker of the Minnesota House shared the stories of Minnesotans to explain why they feel the state needs these mandatory family leave policies.
Betsy Singer spoke with democratic Representative Ruth Richardson, the lead author of the bill to learn about this bill and how much it would cost the state.
