Demanding change for hospital price transparency compliance

(ABC 6 News) – Hospitals are not following a price transparency law put in place a year ago and federal penalties are about to increase because of it. Following that law, PatientsRightsAdvocate.org is issuing its second semi-annual report on hospitals’ compliance with the 2021 Rule.

Betsy Singer spoke with Cynthia Fisher, the founder and chairman of PatientRightsAdvocate.org to learn more about this report, and how the patient rights group is sounding the alarm and demanding change for consumers.
