Employee dies while working at Cannon Falls fertilizing company

(ABC 6 News) – A 37-year-old man was killed in a work place accident Tuesday morning in Cannon Falls.

According to Cannon Falls Police, Goodhue County dispatch got a call at 5:59 a.m. about an employee who was unresponsive after being pulled into a machine at Sustane Natural Fertilizer.

When officers arrived, they found the employee dead.

The Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the man’s cause of death. The Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.

“Our deepest condolences are with the family and employees who are enduring this tragic incident,” police said.
