(ABC 6 News) – The Legends Concrete Bull Riding Challenge is returning to Rochester for its 25th year.
Back this Saturday and Sunday, those who attend will get a chance to see several bull riders as they compete. The goal is to stay on your bull for eight seconds.
Each rider is scored on a scale of one to 50 with a possible total of 100 points. Riders can gain more points when they spur, or if their bull bucks and they can remain in control.
"They say there are no cowboys in the midwest and they couldn’t be any more wrong," said Trevor Reiste, a professional bull rider from Linden, Iowa.
"All sorts of cowboys up here. And guys can go from the midwest, and if they can compete well in the midwest, then they can compete anywhere."
The competition kicks off Friday night at 8 p.m. For more information and to buy tickets, you can click here.
