(ABC 6 News) — Legion baseball is still going strong as noted by Lewiston-Altura and Dodge Center on Monday night.

The Cardinals and Cobras were tied 1-1 in the top of the fourth inning as L-A’s Cole Kreidermacher tried to go deep off Zack Bodenstab. Fortunately for the Cobras, left fielder Reese Kispert easily catches the out to end the top of the fourth.

In the bottom half, Joiser Ortiz cracked the ball to right for what looked like foul territory at first glance. But the ball actually stays in play, Nolan Oslie catching the out in right field, although it ends up a sac fly as a Cobra reaches home for a 2-1 lead.

Kispert would make another critical play in left field, racing to catch a blast by L-A’s Kayden Kieffer for another final out to end the top of the fifth. However, the Cardinals would eventually overwhelm the Cobras, winning by a 7-2 decision.
