Man dies after rollover crash involving semi

(ABC 6 NEWS) – A Canton man has died after a rollover crash with a semi in Olmsted County Tuesday night, according to Minnesota State Patrol.

Around 6:54 p.m. on Highway 52, 73-year-old Terry Huffman of Brainerd was driving a semi-truck heading south on Highway 52, according to Minnesota State Patrol.

63-year-old Leon Simpson of Canton was also heading south on Highway 52 when he rear-ended the semi-truck, and his vehicle ran off the road into the median, struck a cable barrier, and rolled.

State Patrol said Simpson was not wearing his seat belt and was taken to Saint Marys Campus, but died from his injuries.

Huffman was not injured.
