(ABC 6 News) – Every month the Rochester Area Foundation hosts coffee and conversation as a way for people in the community to come together and talk about topics that impact them.
This month, RAF focused on diversity, equity and inclusion. The non-profit said it’s important for their organization, and others, to be impartial, fair and provide equal possible outcomes for everyone.
Diversity Council Executive Director Dee Sabol said, "Our work is focused and centralized in three areas, and they are the realization of civil equity, educational equity, and health equity. All our work is community informed, community driven, and determined. And, those are the spaces where the work feels most critical."
April’s coffee and conversation will focus on philanthropy and how small businesses can incorporate philanthropic work into their operations.
