Mason City woman killed in one-vehicle crash Tuesday morning

(ABC 6 News) – A Mason City woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at 7 a.m. on 210th Street, west of Thrush Avenue in Cerro Gordo County.
The Iowa State Patrol says 54-year-old Pamela Marie Okerstrom was headed east on 210th Street when her SUV went off the road and into the south ditch, vaulted a field driveway, going airborne. The SUV then landed and rolled.
The State Patrol says Okerstrom was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Okerstrom was ejected from the SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, Mason City Fire Department, and EMS assisted with this crash.
