Mayo Clinic receives bronze bicycle-friendly business award

(ABC 6 News) – Mayo Clinic is being recognized as a bronze bicycle-friendly business.

Mayo is one of three new businesses in Minnesota to be recognized for its efforts to encourage safe and convenient biking for people of all ages and abilities.

The award was given by the League of American Bicyclists, which recognizes creating a bike-friendly community.

Mayo Clinic has improved its bike racks, added secure bike parking rooms, and made sure employees can make a safe and secure ride to and from work.

Minnesota is the third most bicycle-friendly state in the united states.
