Minnesota Zoo wants help to name its male Amur tiger cub
(ABC 6 News) – The Minnesota Zoo is looking for the publics help in naming the male Amur tiger cub born at the zoo this spring.
According to the Zoo, the three Amur tiger cubs continue to grow, learn, and explore.
Over the last week, the cubs have been acclimating to their public-facing Tiger Lair habitat. They can often be seen in the mornings romping through the grass and playing with one another – as their mom, Dari, keeps a watchful eye on them.
Each cub has a different personality, and now they’re ready for their own unique names. For this, the Zoo is looking for input to help name one of the male Amur tiger cubs.
The choices are:
- Aleksei
- Anri
- Vasya
- Vostok
Voting is open and will close at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, August 23. To vote, CLICK HERE.
The Zoo will then announce the winning name the following day on the Zoo’s social media channels.
