MnDOT: No funding available for Hwy 14 intersection improvement project

(ABC 6 News) – According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, there is no funding available for a Highway 14 Intersection Safety Improvement project.

MnDOT and Olmsted County are partnering on the project estimated to be $40-50 million, but due to inflation project costs were higher than expected.

MnDOT states funding for the project could be secured in several ways including applying for Corridors of Commerce and federal Infrastructures Investment and Jobs Act funding.
