More than $6,000 raised during "Rock for Ukraine" concert
(ABC 6 News) – The Iowa Rock and Roll Music Association announced Monday that more than $6,000 was raised during the Rock for Ukraine concert in Arnolds Park last week.
Several Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association Hall of Fame Inductees from some of the most popular regional bands shared the Roof Garden stage for a great evening to raise funds to assist the people of Ukraine.
All proceeds from the event are going to Arise Ukraine, a 501(c)3 non-profit Christian missionary group based out of Sioux Falls, who
has been delivering food and supplies directly to the people of Ukraine. The mission reports that they may do something “significant” with these funds such as using them for mobile food delivery, or maybe even drilling a well to provide fresh water.
