Narcotics search warrant reveals nearly 3 lbs of marijuana, another stolen weapon
(ABC 6 News) – A search warrant performed in Stewartville Monday revealed nearly three pounds of marijuana and another weapon that was reportedly stolen.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office said members of the department as well as the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement Team executed a knock and announce narcotics search warrant at a home on the 2100 block of Bluebird Terrace in Stewartville around 10 a.m Monday.
Inside, law enforcement found around three pounds of suspected marijuana as well as packaging materials, and other drug paraphernalia. Teams also found a loaded revolver that was reported stolen out of Washington County, Illinois around five years ago.
The sheriff’s office said this revolver was taken from the same county in Illinois where guns found during another recent search in the same part of Stewartville had reportedly been stolen from.

29-year-old Vidal Aknis, who lives at the home, was taken into custody. He is facing several possible charges including controlled substance sales and receiving or possessing stolen property.
