Nearly 7.5 pounds of cocaine, $55K found during narcotics search in Rochester

(ABC 6 News) – More than 7 pounds and $55,000 were found during a narcotics search Monday morning in northwest Rochester.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office had conducted surveillance at a home on the 3700 block of Kenosha Drive NW and observed what it believes are drug deals on several occasions.
Monday around 11 a.m. deputies and members of the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement team conducted a nock and announce narcotics search warrant at the home. A man could be seen inside and was not following orders from law enforcement. The teams forced entry into the home and placed the man under arrest.
Inside they found a total of just under 7.5 pounds of cocaine in individual bags and cash totaling $55,360.
32-year-old Roberto Torres-Nibes was arrested. He’s facing possible charges of 1st-degree controlled substance sales and 1st-degree controlled substance possession. Additional charges are possible.
