(ABC 6 News) – A new traveling exhibit is coming to Spark, Children’s Museum of Rochester September 1st.
Velocity, the new traveling exhibit, helps children explore the science of motion, making it exciting to learn all about physics. Children will be able to roll and race golf balls on tracks, loops, and hills to experiment with friction, gravity, momentum, acceleration, speed, and distance.
Participants of all ages will have the opportunity to learn and engage through this new hands-on exhibit.
Velocity will feature five distinct activity areas that mimic skate parks, half-pipes and mountain climbs demonstrating the trajectory, velocity, and momentum of moving objects.
Spark will have this traveling exhibit until January.
