No charges filed in 2021 officer-involved shooting near Rushford

(ABC 6 News) – Charges will not be filed in the officer-involved shooting that occurred last June.

The incident occurred in Rushford during a reported violation of a restraining order the officer was responding to.

Shots were fired by the officer. But no one was hurt.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Investigation took over the investigation.

The Fillmore County attorney’s office forwarded the case to Dodge County who suggested no charges be filed citing insufficient evidence to support criminal charges.
