(ABC 6 News) – No one was hurt after a barn fire was reported in Albert Lea just before midnight Tuesday night.

Albert Lea Fire Rescue said it received a report from a passerby who saw the fire at 1735 Hammer Road. Both Albert Lea and Clarks Grove fire departments were dispatched at 11:45 p.m.

Crews arrived and found a 20 by 20 foot barn engulfed in flames. Law enforcement made contact with the owner who confirmed no one was inside the barn but chickens were housed inside. Only two chickens made it out.
