(ABC 6 News) – The History Center of Olmsted County is facing a budget shortage, according to the executive director.
Executive Director, Wayne Gannaway shared a post on the History Center’s website about the budget cut.
The post says the County Administrator told the center this summer that the County Commission plans to make cuts to the budget.
This cut would be by $50,000 and that is 17.5% of the center’s funding from the county and almost 10% of its overall revenue in 2020.
In order to fix things, the History Center is looking to possibly raising admission, reducing staff, and reducing operating hours.
