One in Albert Lea narcotics case pleads guilty

(ABC 6 News) – An Albert Lea man pleaded guilty to felony 1st degree controlled substance crime (sales or possession) in Freeborn County Court Friday.
48-year-old Marco Alquicira from Albert Lea was taken into custody after a September 2020 narcotics search at an Albert Lea hotel.
He and 53-year-old Elizabeth Marcoot from Austin were taken into custody and charged with 1st degree methamphetamine possession.
Alquicira originally pleaded not guilty, but amended his plea June 17.
His sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 10, 2022.
