One person injured after fire at homeless encampment

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Rochester Fire Department responded to a large fire at a homeless encampment early Tuesday morning.
The fire happened around 2 a.m. near the 1000 block of 7th St. NW in Rochester.
Fire crews found the fire next to the railroad tracks just south of Mississippi Welders Supply.
RFD received reports that a gas can had exploded.
The fire destroyed the homeless encampment and several large trees had about $1,000 in damage.
A 47-year-old man went to the hospital with burns to his face and arms.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
