One vehicle, garage contents total loss after early morning fire in Rochester Saturday
(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire just before 1 a.m. Saturday on the 5000 block of 55th Ave NW.
When fire crews arrived on scene, they found a two-story residential structure with a fully involved attached three-car garage fire with a vehicle on fire. Everyone was out of the home at the time crews arrived.
The building was ventilated to remove toxic smoke and gases. RFD was on scene for about three hours and has since been turned over to the Fire Marshal for investigation.
Major fire damage to the entire garage and minor damage to the interior of the home were reported. The one vehicle and garage contents are considered a total loss of about $190,000.
No injuries were reported.
