Police: Prank led to Burnsville school lockdown
(KSTP) – Authorities say a weapons threat at a Burnsville school this week was a prank.
According to police, Burnsville High School was placed on lockdown Tuesday after the department received a report of a weapon in the school. After searching the building, police found no weapons.
Friday, police said they were able to trace the report to two minors who have no direct relationship with the school.
Police said, after talking with the suspects, they determined the weapons report was a prank.
