Police: Rochester woman arrested after stabbing man in the neck

(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester woman is in custody after police said she stabbed a man in the neck.

Officers were called to a home on the 500 block of 5th Ave SE just after midnight Monday. A woman was reportedly banging on the front door of the home and when no one answered she climbed inside through a window.

Police said the woman stabbed a man in the neck but it was not severe. Police said the man and woman know each other.

30-year-old Frances Taylor of Rochester was taken into custody and is facing possible charges of 1st-degree burglary, disorderly conduct and 2nd-degree assault.
