Police search for two suspects involved in armed robbery at Apache Mall
(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Police Department is looking for two people who were involved in a shoplifting incident at Apache Mall that turned into an armed robbery.
Police said two individuals went into Nuka Llakta Sunday morning around 11:30 a.m. Police said one of the individuals grabbed a sweatshirt and put it into a bag and they began to leave. An employee approached them and tried to grab the bag.
The employee told police one of the men lifted his shirt and showed a gun. The employee said the man then pointed the gun at them.
Police said there was a struggle and the two suspects left the mall.
The RPD said it received multiple reports of the incident and said it has surveillance video from the mall.
No one has been arrested as of Monday morning.
