RCTC Baseball players named to MCAC weekly honors

(ABC 6 News) — The season is still early for RCTC Baseball; and on Tuesday, two of its players were been named MCAC players of the week.

Former Century Panther Palmer Mickelson and Lewiston-Altura alum Blake Schilling were named the conference’s south division pitcher and player of the week respectively.

Mickelson’s recognition comes from his first win of the season, where he allowed one run and struck out nine against Garrett College. Schilling whipped up a .437 batting average last week, going seven of sixteen at the plate with four RBIs plus a double.
