RCTC Softball swept by St. Cloud Tech in doubleheader

(ABC 6 News) — It appeared that Mother Nature was on the Cyclones’ side Saturday.
The RCTC Yellowjackets found themselves swept away by St. Cloud Tech in a windy doubleheader.
Tarrin Stephens attempted damage control for RCTC while down 13-4 in the fourth inning. Karrisa Lintgen would strike out, but Emma Imdieke would not. Her pop-up fly into right wasn’t able to be fielded, allowing an RBI triple to pad the lead.
Eventually, St. Cloud Tech would win by a score of 17-5 before taking Game 2 as well, a 13-2 decision. RCTC Softball plays Minnesota State and Ridgewater College next on April 22nd.
