(ABC 6 News) – Minnesota Congressman Jim Hagedorn passed away on February 17 at the age of 59 following a battle with cancer.

Hagedorn represented the state’s first district, which covers much of southern Minnesota. A public visitation was held Friday in Blue Earth. A second public visitation will be held Saturday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. in Truman. The funeral and burial will be held privately this weekend.

His wife, Jennifer Carnahan took time to reflect on his life, legacy, memories and some of the last thoughts he shared with her before passing.
