Rochester City Council to hold an emergency meeting Thursday
(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Rochester City Council will hold an emergency meeting on Thursday afternoon to vote on the Declaration of Local Emergency put in by Rochester Mayor Kim Norton.
The Declaration is currently in effect and will remain in place until 10:15 a.m. Friday unless the City Council approves a resolution to extend it.
The current order requires masks to be worn in settings within the city where medically vulnerable people or children under the age of 12 are expected to be present.
The meeting is on Thursday, August 19 at 3:30 p.m. at the Government Center. Masks are required to attend in person and seating is limited.
