Rochester council passes finalized redistricting maps
(ABC6 News) – The Rochester City Council passed the finalized redistricting maps in an 8-minute meeting Thursday morning.
The council had approved the maps, which keep each member in his or her original ward, during the March 21 meeting.
The new map attempted to even out population shifts in some wards, including 1 and 3. It encompassed features from four previously created draft maps, feedback on which was collected throughout March.
