Rochester man to stand trial for domestic assaults in December
(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man accused of domestic assault by strangulation will stand trial in December.
Bol James Deng faces felony charges of domestic assault, drug possession and sale, as well as four misdemeanor charges related to domestic assault and abuse from a January 2021 incident.

Deng’s pretrial is scheduled for Dec. 1, 2022, with a jury trial Dec. 12.
Deng will also stand trial for a Feb. 2021 case on those same dates, in which he is accused of several more counts of felony domestic abuse and violating a no-contact order, three counts of felony burglary, and several related misdemeanors.
He is currently held on $250,000 bail at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center.
