Rochester Public School Board races

(ABC 6 News) – Nine candidates were vying for a seat in the increasingly partisan race to fill several positions on the nonpartisan Rochester public school board on Tuesday. The results are as follows. The top two will face off in the November general election.
RPS Board Position 2
- Justin M. Cook – 51% (13,079)
- Rae Parker – 29% (7.339)
- Abdullahi Omar Yusef – 20% (5,015)
RPS Board Position 5
- Jean Marvin – 58% (14,963)
- Kimberly Rishavy – 35% (8.854)
- A. Mohamed "Chief" – 7% (1,811)
RPS Board Position 6
- Cathy Nathan – 57% (14,265)
- Elena Niehoff – 28% (7,042)
- Patrick Farmer – 16% (3,909)
The Rochester Public School Board is convening for an Emergency School Board meeting on Friday, August 12 at 2 p.m. to certify the August 9, 2022 Primary Election results.
