Rochester woman taken to the hospital after hitting deer Thursday night

(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester woman was taken to the hospital after hitting a deer Thursday night.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 50-year-old woman was driving north on Highway 52 near Oronoco around 10 p.m. when she collided with a deer.

The woman was not seriously hurt but was taken to the hospital. The state patrol said she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
