State Patrol: 234 crashes, 1 fatal reported before noon amid snowstorm

Snow, limited visibility and cold temperatures created hazardous road conditions Tuesday across Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol said 234 crashes, including 22 with injury and one fatal crash, were reported between 5 a.m. and noon. Another 44 vehicles spun off the road, and there were three jackknifed semis.

Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Troy Christianson said the fatal crash happened around 7:12 a.m. in Maple Grove. The driver died after their vehicle rolled over at Highway 610 and County Road 81.
