Theme announced for 39th annual Rochesterfest

(ABC 6 News) – Thursday morning at City Hall the theme for the 39th annual Rochesterfest was announced.

The board of directors says the theme will be "Destination miracles, music, and more." Mitch Stevenson was also announced as this year’s chairperson.

"Rochesterfest is truly the celebration of the city. The festival involves over 70 different partner organizations, business sponsors, arts and multiple entertainment acts and volunteer groups. Mark your calendars. June 18th through the 26th. Come to the festival and enjoy the many events at Soldiers Field Memorial Park and throughout the community," said Stevenson.

The button contest makes a return this year. The person whose design is chosen not only gets a cash prize but their design will also be used in promotional materials throughout the festival.
