Three arrested in Rochester drug busts, large amounts of ecstasy and fentanyl found

(ABC 6 News) – Three arrests have been made in Rochester in relation to drug raids this week.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office said the first one happened on Wednesday on the 800 block of Forest Hills Drive Southwest in Rochester where 273 ecstasy pills, 17 suspected counterfeit Percocet pills and some marijuana and marijuana wax were found.

50-year-old Tasha Stewart and 40-year-old Richard Hill of Rochester were arrested and are facing multiple felony drug charges.

A second raid took place Thursday at the 6100 block of South Pointe Drive Southwest in Rochester where more than 148 grams of suspected fentanyl were found along with 60 capsules of suspected fentanyl.

63-year-old Benjamin Nichols of Rochester was taken into custody on suspicion of first-degree drug sales, second-degree drug possession and being a felon illegally in possession of a firearm and ammo.

Investigators also found cash and a handgun.
