Traffic stop results in drug arrest, LSD discovery
(ABC 6 News) – The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest and recovered 18 LSD tablets during a traffic stop Wednesday.
At about 4:57 p.m. on June 29, a sheriff’s deputy pulled Sydney Johnson, 26, of Seattle, Washington over in the 9000 block of County Road 5 NW.
According to the deputy, Johnson was driving at 69 mph in a 55 zone. While talking to Johnson, the deputy reported that he smelled marijuana. He said Johnson admitted to having marijuana in the car, then later admitted to having LSD in the vehicle as well.
The deputy allegedly located 18 LSD tablets, more than 8 grams of marijuana, and associated paraphernalia.
Johnson was arrested and taken to the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center, where she faces 4th and 5th-degree drug possession charges, as well as a speeding charge.
