(ABC 6 News) – Police responded to multiple fights in downtown Rochester and say the former player pointed a gun at a crowd of people.
It happened just after midnight Friday morning in the area of Broadway Avenue and Third Street.
The Rochester Police Department responded to one fight on the 200 block of Broadway Avenue S.
A second fight started nearby, on Broadway and Third Street. Police said former RCTC football player Shan Fiorenza backed away from the second fight, pulled a black gun out of his waistband, and pointed it at the crowd.

He then reportedly returned the gun to his waistband.
When police approached told him to show his hands, they said he took off running. A civilian tripped Fiorenza, his gun fell out of his waistband, and officers retrieved the weapon and took Fiorenza into custody.
The 21-year-old Rochester man faces charges of 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, and fleeing police on foot.
Fiorenza is also facing charges after a fight broke out after an RCTC football game in October 2021.
