Veterans and spouses can get free dental care in Rochester, Mason City

(ABC 6 News) – In honor of Veterans Day veterans and their spouses can receive free dental care in Rochester and Mason City on November 6.

Aspen Dental locations nationwide are opening their doors to provide free care. Aspen Dental’s ‘Day of Service’ provides "much needed dental care for veterans at no cost to honor their service and break down barriers to health care."

Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling 844-277-3646. Appointments will be offered between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on November 6.

In SE Minnesota and North Iowa two locations are offering appointments:

"Millions of Americans struggle to access dental care every year, and veterans are no exception. In fact, U.S. veterans are ineligible for dental benefits through the Veterans Administration unless they’re 100% disabled, have a service-related mouth injury, or were a prisoner of war."
